STUDENTS

Everything for students in 6th-12th grades

Getwell Student Ministry seeks to develop life long followers of Jesus who encounter God, build relationships, and serve their world. Everything we do at Getwell centers around this mission.

In order for us to accomplish our vision, we must partner with parents. We know parents are the primary disciplers of their children and we seek to activate parents to do just that. We also place adults intentionally in the lives of our students so that parents know that they have another adult "in their corner" to help guide their students towards Jesus.

Encounter God

We encounter God through weekly worship experiences on Sunday nights for High School and Middle School Students, along with retreat experiences.

Build Relationships

We believe community is essential to a healthy walk with God. In order to build community we have our students engage in weekly small groups on Sunday and Wednesday nights to not only build relationships with other students, but also trust adults we call Small Group Leaders.

Serve Their World

Just as Jesus served the world during his life, we believe it's a Christian's responsibility to love the world through service. Not only do our small groups serve throughout the year, but we have weekends and trips that allow our students to serve their world.

WEEKLY EVENTS

Sunday Mornings

High school students are welcome and encouraged to attend the Sunday Morning Study offered at 9:30AM in the Hub on Sundays! Find more info HERE.

High School Sunday Nights (9th-12th grades)

5-7PM in the Hub

Sunday nights are a time for our High School students to gather to encounter God through worship and studying Scripture. Following worship, we also have age and gender based small groups that allow our students to build relationships with each other and intentionally connect with adults who believe in them.

Middle School Wednesday Nights (6th-8th grades)

6-7:30PM in the Hub

Wednesday nights are a time for our Middle School students (6th grade to 8th grade) to gather together to have fun, experience God, and build relationships with each other. We give them chances to encounter God through worship and teaching with grade and gender specific small groups following our programming.

INTERNSHIPS

Do you love Jesus and like teenagers? Are you passionate about seeing middle school and high school students coming to know Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of their life? Getwell Student Ministry is dedicated to helping teenagers experience a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ! Training and coaching will make for a season of ministry experience you will value for your entire career as an intern with GSM. Our goal is to provide you with a transformational learning experience that you'll look back on with fond memories where you learned the basics of ministry, understood a student ministry philosophy and learned how to work effectively with a team. GSM interns will shadow, co-lead, and help run events and programs, as well as actively coach, mentor, and recruit volunteers.

This internship requires full-time hours and is available as a summer internship (12 weeks).  Applicants must have completed their freshman year of college and be able to provide transportation for themselves. This internship is paid and housing is provided.
