FAMILY FUN NIGHT - COOKOFF SIGNUPS ARE NOW AVAILABLE!
Join the Getwell family on the back lawn from 5-7:30PM on Wednesday, October 30 for Family Fun Night as we celebrate a great semester of Wednesday meals, classes, student ministry and kids ministry!
Enjoy a dinner of burgers and hot dogs, try your best recipe in the chili or dessert cookoff (or just enjoy sharing your tasting expertise by voting), listen for the big winner's name for the Community BINGO card prize drawing, and have fun on games and inflatables.
COOKOFF DETAILS:
Pull out your best cooking/baking aprons and raise money for missions! Two awards will be given in each category. Your entry will be entered to compete for "BEST in Show" and "People's Choice Award." "Best in Show" will be judged by special guest judges. Each entry will have a jar to collect cash from taste tasters of all ages. Minimum to vote is $1.00. The entry that raises the most money in each category will win the "People's Choice Award." So tell all your fans to bring some spare bills and vote!

- You (or someone you designate) are responsible for serving tastes of your chili or dessert (cups/spoons provided) during the voting period from 5-6:30PM, then stay to hear who won awards in each cookoff category.
Come along on a thorough, but brief tour of Getwell's campus to learn about areas of ministry that operate each week. God has given YOU a specific calling, and part of leading a full life as a Christian is leaning in to that and using it to further God's kingdom. We want to help determine what that calling may be and put it to perfect use here at Getwell!

If you have already hit the big 6-0, this trip is for you! Join other Getwell folks in the 60+ age group for a great road trip to experience three great locations in Kentucky! We will depart the church on November 11 and travel to Kentucky to visit The Creation Museum, The Ark Encounter and then stop by The Corvette Museum on our way home on November 13.
Includes: admission to all three experiences, travel expenses and two nights hotel lodging with breakfast.
You bring: money for other meals and incidentals
Cost:
$300 (double occupancy – you and a spouse or you and a friend)
$450 (single occupancy – if you prefer your own space!)
*$100 deposit due at registration and remainder to be paid by October 15.
The church will provide transportation via church van, or you can choose to drive your own car and cover the cost of your fuel.
